picture of the month...

just for fun...

if you've been around here through the years you know that there are exactly two interests going on around here at any given time: ricky - warcraft, and dini, photography.

warcraft would make a really boring monthly feature so we'll go with mine.

once a month i'll add a photo i took and try to explain to you why i chose it to represent the month. it'll be boring but remember, it could be worse. it could be a warcraft thing...

the 365:2010 project...

365 is really very optimistic...

at the beginning of the year i was invited to join a 365:2010 project on flickr.

the object of this project is to post one photo a day to the group. the only real rule is the photo must be taken on the day it's being posted. one a day for 365...

it sounded easy enough when i first joined but it didn't take me very long to figure out that finding something to shoot each and every day is a serious challenge!

i managed to stick with it through the end of may but gave it up when i realized that i was scraping the bottle of the creative barrel and the photos were starting to suck. i was no longer enjoying taking photos and that's just wrong!

meantime, you can find my 151 - plus a few more - contributions on my flickr page:

my photoblog...

some new, some old...

as though that's not enough of a web presence, i also maintain my own photoblog. this is where i keep a selection of old and new shots, and while there is no real rhyme or reason to the things i post, they are in a chronological order - newest to oldest - with the odd "oldies" photo tossed in.

click on the first photo and that will move you backwards through the posts, or visit the archive page and scroll till you find something you think might look good enlarged.
